We’ve all done it: spent way too much on an item we only wore a few times. Splurging can feel great when a piece of clothing makes you feel really good about yourself. But, it can come back to bite us later when we don’t have enough money for things like, oh, I don’t know, food.
There are a few items that it’s absolutely necessary to buy high quality. These are your essentials: handbags, basic shoes and clothes, and a few classic jewelry pieces.
I’ve taken the liberty of trying to find some of my favorite styles for each of these categories. I’m not saying splurge on every style, but find the pieces you wear the most to decide what you personally should spend that extra cash on. Some of these pieces you may find to be a little overpriced, or perfectly priced for the quality of the product, but DON’T fret- I’m also writing a blog post soon about how to get your favorite pieces at great prices, so you’ll never have to pay full price again!
Happy shopping!
